Penny Butler, General Manager HomeChoices

Penny started her involvement and work with people with a disability as a young volunteer at The Oakleigh Centre in the 1970s.

Since then, she has been involved at many levels and in a diverse range of roles, from working as a direct support worker in residential, education and day services, through to co-ordinating a statewide education program within Queensland National Parks for disadvantaged youth.

Penny recently joined the EW Tipping Foundation as its new General Manager for HomeChoices. Penny has worked with a wide range of disability and local government organisations in Victoria and has a broad set of skills, knowledge and experience to bring to the role.

In her "spare time", Penny is a keen competitive lawn bowler with the St Kilda Bowls Club, and a very loyal Western Bulldogs supporter.
