Supporting people with behaviours of concern

Vista Community Support has proven experience in supporting people who exhibit behaviours of concern. We work with children, youths, adults, older Australians, as well as people with a disability.

Who we support

We support people who exhibit behaviours of concern due to range of factors such as:

  • Intellectual, physical or neurological disabilities
  • Mental health issues, such as dementia
  • Trauma and attachment issues

How we can help

We put in place personalised programs to help people with their daily living activities. We work with each person to improve their living skills and develop coping methods. This helps them to achieve their full potential and can reduce their behaviours of concern.

We also support people to get out into the local community and participate in various activities of interest to them. This community-based support also provides a respite opportunity for the primary caregiver.

We also work closely with allied health professionals such as Specialist Services, Adult Behaviour Consultancy Team (ABC) and the Multiple and Complex Needs Panel (MACNI).
