Vista - Services for children in Victoria

We support Michael to attend a dancing group and also to go swimming.Vista provides a number of services for children who need support, including:

  • Children with disabilities
  • Children requiring out-of-home care and crisis support

At all times, our focus is on the needs of the child. Our staff are enthusiastic, passionate and focused on maximizing choices and independence for the children they support.

Children with disabilities

Browse our services for children with disabilities. Some of these are offered through our partner organisation, the EW Tipping Foundation:

  • One-on-one support including personal care, developing of independent living skills, help with occupational therapy and rehabilitation, and support in educational settings
  • Facility-based respite (EW Tipping Foundation)
  • At-home or community-based respite
  • Recreational and leisure activities

Out of Home Care and Crisis Support

Vista offers out-of-home care and crisis support in most regions for children with and without disabilities.

Out of School Hours Support

Vista offers reliable, safe and enjoyable Before School Care, After School Activities and Holiday Programs for primary school-aged children.

Out Of School Hours Care is an inexpensive child care alternative for parents, which is conveniently based within the school grounds. Staff are flexible and aim to provide a fun and enjoyable service that provides equal access and meets the diverse range of needs of primary school-aged children.

The programs are developed to capture the children’s interests and local events, such as community festivals and public celebrations. We provide a blend of indoor and outdoor, planned and spontaneous activities.
